Fender Jazz 5 string replacement pickups - hot and punchy?

Watching this as well. Love my Jazz V, would just like a bit more versatility out of the electronics.
I have these pups in my Lakland 55-60.

I dropped in a set of quarter pounders and an Audere JZ3 and I know it was significant improvement in the sound but the neck on this particular bass needs help so it's a future project. I do believe the over all tone did mellow out to my ears and the jazz growl is more favorable towards the neck pickup. The pickups were a direct drop in just takes some care to fit the battery in the compartment but no routing or trimming was needed.
The Nordstrand NJ5FS is a good recommendation for hot and punchy. They cut right through the mix, and sound great recorded as well. Barden's rail humbuckers are even hotter, with a thicker overall tone. They are outstanding for rock, and I preferred them to the Nordstrands, but they do sound less traditional. IMO the Bardens sound like 35% G&L MFD humbucker mixed with 65% classic single coil.
After using both of these sets in my 2008 Jazz V, however, I decided the stock single coils were probably the best match for that particular bass. I hate single coil hum, so if I'd kept the bass I probably would have stayed with the Bardens anyway, but IMO the stock singles sounded fantastic.
