What year of Fender Jazz have headstocks that look like this?

trying to get the serial.

kinda looks like the '65 to me..

From that picture, it looks like a copy with a Fender decal put on. The logo looks like it would be from the mid 60's.

Definitely not 70's or early 60's though.

i'll go out on a limb say its a FAKE, the lettering is too small and placement too far to the right. Something odd with the headstock shape or the photo.

It's an intriguing oddity.

Also look closely at the OP photo. Almost looks like there is a truss rod opening under the strings. If it is, then it is a fake.

doesn't look like it to me..not sure. i'll ask.

but,

yours(classicjazz) has "offset body" under the G string tuner.
the jazz i'm looking at has that at the end of the headstock....

I try to identify the head of my Precision too (it's not a Fender) and it looks very similar to yours :

Yeah that could be any Chinese copy... At first I thought it was a Hohner or a Samick but it isn't .

Could be anything, but Fender.
