Meh... Yet another P-Bass variation.
you have just crushed my dreamsFirst of all In The Midnight Hour was never a Motown hit. It was written by Wilson Pickett and Steve Cropper and recorded at the Stax Studio in Memphis, Tn. And second what Motown artist ever played a purple PBass? No one. If they were gonna dedicate it to anyone it should have been Prince.

Love the purple, don't care for the tort guard and kinda hate gold hardware in general. But I've been a fan of Ali Shaheed Muhammad for ages (since Tribe, naturally). Would definitely give this bass a whirl if I stumble across one in a shop somewhere.
BTW, you can hear it in action here:

man i love BASSI like purple.
I like tort.
I like matching headstocks.
So, I love this bass.
Guess I'm in the minority here...

COOLI always thought a lake placid blue p with matching headstock and gold hardware would look nice.

I'd never pay over 2 grand for a Precision, especially one that had two large pieces of metal I'd immediately remove and store in the case. Having said that, it sure is beautiful to look at.A new P-bass in Purple with Gold meant to deliver that vintage Motown mojo. The Limited Edition Midnight Hour Precision Bass is available exclusively from [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] from 2 November for $2,250.
