I'm thinking about getting a fender and what i don't understand is this difference:

What does the F/L mean? Is it worth saving up to FENDER Mexico Deluxe Series P-Bass Special-MN-ARCTIC WHITE instead?

As near as I can tell from my Frontlines catalog the F/L is a fretless with fret lines. The less expensive one is a fretted bass.
