Fender Mustang Micro Headphone Amp

If anyone is still here, I would like to ask the owners a question: Does your battery drain when it's turned off, too? Mine came new with a dead battery, takes hours to charge and is completely empty again after a few days (switched off, that is).
Fender says it's Li-Ion, so none of this should normally happen - at least it doesn't with the gazillion other Li-Ion devices I have.
So, did I get a lemon, or is this how Fender builds them? Or both?

The battery does seem to drain over time. I was afraid of something like that, Fender has been good for surprises before.
I still find it a bit annoying. Like my first cell phone in the 90s: If you wanted to use it the next day, you had to leave it plugged in overnight. I thought problems like this had gone away for 20 years.
Recently I found a PS controller that the kids had put in the black hole of their room. You could hardly see it under the layer of dust - the battery was still at ~50% ...

I updated my firmware and it jacked the charging capability - main LED would blink red sometimes. Got a replacement from Fender and haven't updated FW on it.
I think the last FW release was 2022, so most likely, anything in the retail channel now is probably already the current version.
I was looking in my old downloads, it looks like I've updated mine at least 3 times. Fortunately, I never had any issues.
