Fender or Gibson?

Gibson!
The 1969 Les Paul Bass is hands down the best sounding bass I have. Plus it is the most comfortable to play.

And it doesn't look like 90% of all the other basses you see out there

Like a couple others, my favorite basses are the Gibson Grabber G3 and the Les Paul Bass...lovely pieces, great tones, good comfort, and very unique. I would like to get a Grabber II now.

This poll is a blowout (given the 2 bass options)...

I think Music Man would poll higher than Gibson given a 3rd option - With unlimited options, Gibson would probably not make the top 5 - Guitars would be a different story...

No offence to Gibson - I'm actually gassing for a Tbird - however I'd like a choice of colours...

Gibson has a sad collection of basses. Fender is turning their backs on us. Blacktop and Pawnshop series guitars and nothing for the bass players. I vote neither.
