Fender P 1991 at Auction

Never bid on one of those auctions but am curious if someone has experience with shipping cost if one were to win an auction?
You have to arrange shipping according to their terms and no idea if that is easy or difficult and if you get gouged. But, after you win, you have to ship it by Thursday after the auction ends or $10 / day for a storage fee. Also, there is a 20% buyer's premium added to your winning bid. No returns permitted. So, I'd only look at it if I were local, able to pick it up myself and examine before bidding. It's a MIM bass and not that desirable to jump through hoops.
