The ebony fretboard makes no discernible difference to the weight of the bass.

You see lots of sunbursts like that with maple necks and the ugly parchment pickguards, but you don't see the all black black MIM precisions hardly at all. With a matching headstock. If you have a 2017 Noir all black, they sell easily good luck finding one. An Ebony board would be even better IMO View attachment 5052698
