That settles it! I am sticking with the black!

I like the stealth idea, but it is a fairly expensive 2008 MIA P, so I don't want to change the bridge, tuners, etc.

If you want to go stealth for the body but don't want to change the bridge a black bridge cover would hide it (provided it fits over that bridge).

If it were me, I'd leave the tuners alone unless I was blacking out the headstock too.

Sorry, I have to disagree with everything you've said.

The bass looks great with the chrome bridge, but i think the problem is that there isn't enough chrome on the body, so the bridge kind of sticks out. Maybe some shiny chrome knobs would complete the look?

Why would you want a black bridge/bridge cover with chrome tuners and hardware? I always thought that putting a black part on a bass with everything else chrome looks extremely stupid. It's like a cheap parts bass or something.

Mirror, turn it into a Phil Lynott bass. I like the white as well, but a BWB would look cool too. I am fairly indifferent to the single ply black. I think tort looks better on sunburst and natural basses, not so much on black. I have a black P at home with a white pearloid that looks pretty nice (and a white pearloid for my candy apple red P Special in my sig).

Yeah, I don't like that, it makes your fretboard look weak. How about white pearl? I have the sister to your bass, a J5 in black but a maple board. I ordered a pearl white guard from evilbay.

If you like your pots and output jack hangin' out, then yeah.

Unless you get a control plate of some sort, you have to keep the pickguard on a P in order to mount the pots and output jack.
