Fender P PG Poll and... (Why the hell is there a hole under afformentioned PG?

What PG do you like better on my American Standard P?

I love my 2008 American Standard P bass and think it will be with me for a long time. I truly got a great one IMO. Anyways, I figured for fun I would try out a couple of different looks. Let me know what you like best.....

Also, pic 5 shows a round rout in the body. It is absolutely from the factory.... what the hell is it for?:confused:

I hate that Fender insists on them dadburn white pickguards. That said, I like the multi-ply pickguards, they seem more... finished. So in this case, in answer to the OP's question, given the choice of the two PGs shown. The white one. Given my druthers though, I'd go with black-cream-black, or black-red-black multi-ply.

Or red pearl. Or purple mirror.

But seriously...
