Fender P PG Poll and... (Why the hell is there a hole under afformentioned PG?

Out of those two choices, white.
But I think either a three ply B/W/B or red tort would be better.

One ply gloss black!
I have a one ply black pickguard on my black Jazz bass, and i think it's a really sleek and sexy look.
I think that light colored fingerboards look better with the black/black thing, but the bass still looks ok.

Take a look at the PGs from this place, and I'll bet you find a bunch that you'd prefer over black or white. Especially look at Pearls and Stones, IMO. Check out Mica Marble (instead of Tort). Lots of other nice ones too. The nice thing about a black bass is that it goes with almost anything.

They are .125" plexiglass with polished edges. They have solids availabe also, but don't show any on their website. Solids run about $50.
These are the prettiest PGs I ever saw, and the polished edges are a classy touch.
PS- If it has to be one or the other, I vote for black (Plexiglass w/ black PG screws).

The black would be nice if it was 3ply (BWB). Who ever heard of a blue tortoise? What nonsense.
The white would look nicer if it was white pearl.

That settles it! I am sticking with the black!
I like the stealth idea, but it is a fairly expensive 2008 MIA P, so I don't want to change the bridge, tuners, etc.
Tort or mint would look cool, but my '73 black Jazz has a mint PG and my white P5 has a tort one. The black on black is different IMO and kinda cool.

I honestly don't see why so many of you guys like white.
White is just so "stock". It looks like every other black P bass i have ever seen.
White is plain and boring! I guess that the same could be said about black pickguards, but at least it doesn't look like another out-of-the-box Fender.

If you want to go stealth for the body but don't want to change the bridge a black bridge cover would hide it.
If it were me, I'd leave the tuners alone unless I was blacking out the headstock too.
