Not in my price range. If I wanted one I'd probably mod a Squier Tele bass.
Too high for me when I can find as good or better for much less, but for some people this definitely does it at a few different levels.

Seems to me the slab body and this paint style was probably done because it was the cheapest way to manufacture.
The PJ takes away from the ‘51 esthetics.
So worst of two worlds. IMHO of course.
Why not a contoured precision body with the single coil pickup? I’m sure it exists.

i love it, but the price is about $700 more than my internal valuation combobulator feels it should be.

Schecter Model T with an F logo for significantly more money? As a Fender fan, no thanks 
It is not a good mix of old and new. It looks awkward to me.
It goes against my grain to see a 51 P Bass style with that pickup combination.
I’m just not a fan of the sale bodied Ps. I don’t dislike this any more than the regular ones I guess
I have had a MIM Dirnt, so it's not a foreign look to me. Still, why does Fender need to rout the PJ configuration on bodies that have no history of that style? For a parallel universe, pawn shop, or other alt series, I think they could do better than that especially at this price.
I like the look. But I do think it’s funny that the combination scream Schecter Model T.
It is pretty much a 60th anniversary Precision with a couple tweaks. As for it looking like a Schecter Model T, let’s be honest about who copies whom here.
I'm so glad Schecter does what they do. I've got just over 2 grand in my 5 Schecters, 2 of them were bought new. They all play fantastic.
If it's of the quality and general vintage accuracy of the '13–'17 AVRIs, and has the same sort of thin lacquer finish, and it's available in *any* other color (I hate pre-yellowed blonde finishes), then it's a nice bass, and I might pay that new or buy one used down the road. Wish it didn't have the J pickup, though.
In short, what I really want is a regular '51 reissue in a custom color, not this...but I'm sure this is a bass I'd have no trouble getting along with.
