Fender Pawnshop Reverse Jaguar

Love the medium-scale neck; it's about bloody time! Wish it were rosewood.

But I don't like the body shape, the pickups, the bridge, or the lack of upper-fret access. And the colors are booooooring.

What I'd prefer is a Fender version of the Squier E-series bass (rosewood & medium-scale). I'd buy that in a heartbeat!

I'm going to start putting my rupples aside, if it plays well I'll add one to the fold. I like the idea of a unique Fender.

I'd change the guard on any of the colors, black or white pearl on the red, black or tortoise on the sunburst and black or tortoise on the black would be my choices. (I just don't like boring white guards.)

I think that they'll sell a few to people who want something different but like the comfort of having Fender on the headstock. I don't that this will affect their other lines in any way, it just gives them a totally different product for a different customer.

I think that it isn't a bad idea. If you don't like it, there are plenty of other basses out there for you.
