Fender PJ Body With 3 postion blade switching

Hey guys,

I want to build a custom bass that's almost exactly like the Fender Tony Franklin P Bass.

I've found some online licensed Fender parts dealers that have a body routed for the P and J Bass pickups, and a front input, master tone, and master volume. But I haven't found any that are routed to include a 3 postion blade switch. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for the help!

you can alter one of those bodies yourself to accept the switch(very minor routing if at all) and then buy the pick guard, or if you want to go rear rout, you will need to cut the slot for the 3-way, most likely with a dremel tool and a large cut off wheel.

A mini-toggle DPDT on-on-on switch takes almost no room. Easy to mount too.

yes - same w/ the rotary switch. I also play guitar and the volume and pup blade get in the way of my strumming so I modded my strat by taking off the tone knobs (which I never used) and having just a volume and 5 way pup selector in their place. no routing ... custom pg though
