Fender Preamp in Squier Deluxe Jazz

I have a preamp from a 2016 Fender Jazz Elite as well as the 4th Generation Noiseless pickups. Would it be possible to install both in a Squier Deluxe Jazz bass bass? Could the preamp be disassembled from the control plate and put on the bass? It has room for the knobs and even the on/off preamp switch, but doesn’t have a control plate.

Here are pictures I found online. I have all the parts and the bass, but they’re currently in storage.

Unless someone else who's already attempted this can say otherwise, I would say, "Probably". You have the advantage of the Fender preamp being in pieces, not as a module, but given the size of the Squier's control route, it's likely it could use either. My big concerns are;

1. Do the wires allow the battery to reach the Squier's box? If not, will there be room to tuck it into the control cavity?
2. Will the pots fit? The shafts may be slimmer than standard pots, so some kind of retainer ring underneath to help hold them in place might be necessary.
3. Are the pickups the same size? The Deluxe Squiers were made at the same time as the Squier Standard basses, which were notorious for using neck-sized pickups for both J/J's and P/J's. If the Deluxe follows the same blueprint as the Standard, you might need to widen the bridge route a teensy bit to get the Noiseless pup to fit. I did that to a Squier Standard Jazz to make it more compatible with other pickups. (see bottom pic)
