Fender Precision Colors

Hey all,

I'm looking into buying a used Fender P. I saw a used one from 2007 MIM. I just wanted to make sure that it's legit. Did Fender make a MIM in a dark blue color in 2007? All I see now is the light blue version and I can't find a dark blue version unless it's a Squier. The neck says it's an MIM but the body could be a Squier? Thanks ahead.

They do have a dark blue. Several.
You'll see Navy Blue Metallic on the Deluxe Precision.
They also have Mystic Blue, Cobalt Blue Metallic, Atlanta Metallic Blue, Midnight Blue, Gun Metal Blue Metallic, Cobalt Blue Transparent, Baltic Blue, Electron Blue, Blue Burst andand probably a few I missed since Electron Blue and Navy aren't on the Fender Color Chart I have.
Don't know what years which colors are available, though, and some are/were only available on the American-made basses.
I'm guessing yours might be Cobalt Blue Metallic, Electron Blue or most likely, Midnight Blue.
