I know there was only 200 made [ I verified this with Fender] and one just sold on Ebay for $1000. The price is already going up. Does anyone but me have one with a 70's gold headstock decal instead of the White 60's one they all came with? In my opinion and the guys down at fender agree they all should have been gold. Just wondering if I have a one of a kind.

What a cool detail. The simple gold decal actually looks better, imo.
When I called fender they had me send them this picture. They passed it around the office and everyone said they should have all been done like this. They said someone goofed and grabbed the wrong decal. They said this was extremely rare and to hang on to it. It didn't even dawn on me for a month or so until another tb'r said he wished his was gold instead of white. I happened to glance at mine and saw it was gold and wondered why. That's when I called Fender. Younever know.
