Fender Precision with Jazz neck?

Does Fender sell anyone precision basses that have a jazz bass neck or even a geddy lee type 70s neck? Whats the cloest to precision with a jazz neck that I could get?

The Fender precision Deluxe has a J neck on it. It has the J pickup in the bridge position though. I don't know of any regular P's that have a J neck.

You could put one on; most Jazz necks (there are some exceptions) will fit a Precision body.

The Precision Deluxe has a Jazz neck.

If not, you can always make the swap yourself.

The Precision Deluxe has a Jazz neck with rolled edges and detailed nut/fretwork, choice of rosewood or maple fingerboard fitted with 20 medium-jumbo frets. In addition, it got an active 3-band EQ and a Vintage Noiseless Jazz Bass pickup in the bridge position, hence the term "Deluxe Active P-Bass Special". The Gold Anodized Aluminum pickguard is now replaced by a new, smarter-looking 1-ply Beveled Gold Vinyl. This bass features a solid alder body and is available in 4 striking finishes: Navy Blue Metallic, Blizzard Pearl, Chrome Red and Black.

If you're willing to stray from the Fender logo the Lakland Duck Dunn sig model is a P style bass with a J style neck. Blocks, binding, and the whole shi-bang!

Look for the older USA Peavey Fury basses. They have the slimmest necks of any P-bass ever made.
