How do you eq your fender rumble 100 and what are your thoughts on the amp?

You have rumble signature sound with just flat EQ. This setting is great match with Pbass.
As a Pre-V3 200 combo owner, I prefer engage Vintage button to suit my personal taste.

I think they are great amps for the price and I really like both of mine. My Rumble 100 is a fine practice amp and I've been gigging my 500 for about two years in an alternative rock band. I'm not going to lie and say it's the best sounding amp I've ever heard as there are a few that I do like better, but each of those would be 3x-4x the price (or more) and quite a bit bulkier/heavier. FWIW, when I purchased the 500 I chose it over several much more expensive options.

I like the bass at about 1:00-2:00, the treble rolled back to about 10:00-11:00, and the two mids at noon with the vintage setting on and the gain set to about 2:00. I've yet to actually use the contour or bright button, other than just messing around to see what sounds I could get. This setting sounds great with either both my P and J basses and I use the same settings my rumble 500 as well.

I agree especially about the power rating. I have gigged mine in more than a few situations where I thought I might need a bigger amp and it was more than adequate. In a way I prefer it to my Rumble 500 because I can use it with higher gain & volume.

You have rumble signature sound with just flat EQ

I always start out flat and adjust depending on the room, which bass Im using, PA, etc.

I have the 500, but prefer my bass knob around 11 o’clock, low and high mids at about 1 o’clock, and the high around 2 o’clock. Otherwise, it’s way too boomy for my taste. Of course, each room is different... but I always start around here.

I feel the same way about my Rumble 200 combo. I can open it up and push it a bit to get a more powerful tone/sound.

I have posted before how much I love My 200c for playing my Les Pauls through. My problem is my bass player uses it at Rehearsal leaving me to lug a monster. Do you think I would love the 100c for guitar as well? And yes, I know go out and play one! Lol. I would like your opinion as well as GD, KBD, and others. Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion! Went and tried one out. Cool but not for me. But I did pull the trigger on a Marshall DSL20CR. TUBE AMP.

With upright, I often run my Rumble 100 with no Gain. I generally turn Bass and Low Mid down to about 9:00 or 10:00, and High Mid and Treble up to around 2:00. With EBG, flat usually works fine. Never use any of the enhancements or distortion.

I picked up a Rumble 100 I saw on Craigslist for $225 with a cover in excellent condition a few months back as I have heard so much about them. I have always been an Ampeg fan (I have 6 combos and (2) large rigs) but I wanted something small and lighter for my upright jazz gigs. It has become my go to rig. I normally run no gain, tone with a bit of a boost, and vintage on. I did the suggested internal bracing mod, filled the cabinet with insulation, installed an IEC female power jack, eliminated the original power cord, and added pop off casters. The insulation really helps with the boominess but does drop the low bass a bit. I take the back casters off to give the amp a bit of a tilt and help eliminate standing waves from the floor plus I can hear it better. Cheap mods that really work! My main gigging basses are a 53 Kay M1 or a BSX Allegro and it sounds great with either and my back loves it! It has replaced the old B-100R I previously relied on weighing almost 4 times as much and requiring a DI box for use with a PA. Highly recommended!
