Use the output level control on your Sansamp, it will work fine.

That’s my understanding too.If you have one of the ones with a pre/post switch, hang on to it.
IME, the post-only DI definitely causes strife with most experienced sound people. Even if I explain ahead of time that tweaking my stage volume is going to affect their feed, the moment I touch the Master volume, they clearly hear it, as I see arms waving back at the desk.
Vocalists and some of the lead instruments can get away with level shifts, but our FOH output is integral to the mix foundation that the sound crew set up with the kick and toms.
That's why I always send from the Radial JDI on my pedalboard for important gigs.
Meanwhile, it looks like we may have missed the bus on the supply shortage that resulted in Fender using a power stage with a pre/post switch in some of the smaller combos...
The Fender website no longer refers to the V3 series under that name- now they're just Rumble combos, and only the 800 and 800 Stage back views show the two-button DI output.
I've visited two dealers in my area that have recent stock to confirm. All of the regular combos up to the 500 have the standard DI out.
No, at least some newer R100s have this feature.Your information is partially correct. Only the Rumble 500 and Studio versions provide selection of pre/post preamp for the DI. The Rumble 40 through the 200 do not have this option.
This is how a lot of us do it.If you set the Overdrive settings to "0", the activation button acts as a mute switch.
This was a temporary addition so that they could ship these combos. Otherwise they would have to suspend shipping until the supply chain issues get resolved. No, at least some newer R100s have this feature.
Interestingly enough after this discussion of the pre/post option on Rumble 100's, I was in a music store last week and as I walked out I saw a new Rumble 100 sitting there. I checked the back and it had that feature. Wish mine did but not interested enough to buy another one just for that. This was a temporary addition so that they could ship these combos.
