i tried both of them together with the tc and so far i got amazing sounds out of them , like you said pushing them hard with a bit over half of volume knob , now i got to run some test with the rumble head and then separate ...Yeah, you're blowing it in some way or other. It's not cabinet.
I always run mine as a pair, as the sound quality is just so much better. The cabinet coupling effect of identical stacked cabinets is just that powerful, and the Fender Rumble 350 is no slouch.i tried both of them together with the tc and so far i got amazing sounds out of them , like you said pushing them hard with a bit over half of volume knob , now i got to run some test with the rumble head and then separate ...
a visit from someone at the leasing office letting me know i was really loud , btw i don't live that close from the office , so that tells me something !!!
Hi Linnin. I've read some people think the V2 sounds better then the V3 112. What are your feelings about this? I certainly have noticed you are a huge Fender rumble supporter and thought you may have an opinion on this. I don't mind the slight difference in weight with the newer ceramic magnets. That being said i have also read that the ceramic magnets sound a bit better then neo magnets but i have not been in the position to have personal experience with this? I know the V2's are discontinued but i have access to one right now for the same price as the v3.....i just can't play it first and have to go on blind faith. I am running the Rumble 500 head and LOVE it....Thanks!The V2 Rumble 112 Neos LOVE power. Gotta Feed 'em watts. My Rumble 350 spanks 'em pretty good, but go ahead and use a Rumble 500 and plenty of it. Hit 'em hard.
Actually you have more personal experience with neodymium magnets than you might think. Ever listen to music through a good set of headphones? There's your neo for you. They are the most powerful man made magnets in existence. That being said i have also read that the ceramic magnets sound a bit better then neo magnets but i have not been in the position to have personal experience with this?

Ceramic-Ferrite magnets have been around since the 1950's and are cheap and easy to make (iron filings in clay) and can be molded into any shape. These are weakest of all the man made magnets. Once again, you have heard a ton of ceramic magnet driven drivers in your life time.
For some listeners, the ceramics sound a bit warmer - more familiar and old school. To me the Neos are more like the old & powerful AlNiCo magnets of the top of the line speakers of the 1960's such as the highly vaunted JBL D140 and also EVMs. The casual listener won't be able to tell the difference. In a blind listening test I wonder just how many experts could correctly identify: Ceramic; AlNiCo, and Neodymium driven drivers.

I like neos better. I have a pair of V2 Fender Rumble 112 Neo cabinets and they are more accurate & well defined across the entire bass frequency range. The cabinets were constructed at Fender's Ensenada, Mexico facility. The drivers are custom tweaked for Fender by Eminence and are based on the Deltalite II 2512 made in Eminence Kentucky USA. It's a higher quality and better sounding woofer than the custom designed Eminence ceramic-ferrite woofer made by Eminence China. In fact the entire V3 Rumble 112 is manufactured in China by Eminence for Fender and is very high quality as is the V3 Rumble 210. As always in the end it is your ears and sonic sensibilities that make the difference. The real question (which I also have) is: do you have an opinion on the overall sound of the V2 vs the V3 112 cabs?

The V3 112 Rumble is heavier than the V2 112 Rumble. So what? Both are discontinued and are Fender Rumble history.
If you want them better pounce now. Whatever few are left in the supply line are all there are.~
So I guess I must have found the only one left then :

Nonetheless, whatever I learn from this exercise could prove useful when researching other makes and models, whether these ones are disco'd or not.

So I guess I must have stumbled upon the final Rumble.....

"He who hesitates is lost"~
I'm thinking about it.
Only thing is I would want TWO of them, and that listing has but one.
