Been playing my v300 500 head w a 115 for about 2 months finally getting used to it. My P w flats needs the gain up, lows and low mids to abt 10:30 and high mids cranked to 1:30
Do I get a number??

Question,, i would like to add a 210 cab to use with the 115 and for smaller gigs. Anyone have experience w this combo?

One more question for you Rumbler's...regarding the vintage white or cream knobs...anybody know off hand if they are "set screw" mounted on a 1/4" solid shaft...or are they push-on "D" shaft or split or??

split shaft push on pull off. Oh, they are called 'Wheel O' Cheese' knobs and that vintage look is period correct to the first piggy back Fender Bassman amps of 1963.

Got my new bass last night. Won't get to plug it in until tonight. The wife doesn't suspect anything. Wonder if she will notice? In the meantime I keep playing her Jaco vids..... hoping the bass look will imprint in her mind so she won't think it is unusual.....

My 26 year old son called soon after to announce he got married. ***? He has been laying low for a few months....but, damned. Haven't even met her. My wife is probably too distracted to notice my bass.

(I was not surprised by the sudden marriage--I knew he was hot after her...my wife was blown away) They plan on a formal ceremony this fall. Saw her pics--she is gorgeous and has a serious career.

Yes, that was a highly praised configuration early on with the Rumble 500 combo + Rumble 115 cabinet. There are a couple of hundred users.

As you can see, the Fender amp that Linnin pictured used set screw knobs.
Rumble knobs however, appear to be push on.
I just looked at my Rum 200 combo and I don't see any set screws.
I didn't pull a knob off so can't tell you about the shaft.
But I assume, as is usually the case with a push on knob, you get a knurled, split shaft.

Of course it is! The only issue is it is too LOUD!

Keep going back through this thread, I know someone recently inquired about that and found it to be a satisfactory setup.
