Fender Rumble Club

Need a Rumble Family Photo! :)
We sure do! :-) Here is mine:

BTW: I put my mega VOX Guitar stack next to it as a point of reference :D

So, the effects loop on the 100 combo... Any good for standard pedals or multi effects, so I can use mod/delay with the built in overdrive? Or just stay with the entire board out front?

They are the same designs from 40 up. The difference is in the speaker and cabinet.

I found the loop to work very well for time and mod effects. If you are using the OD on the heavier side, using the loop for these effects becomes important.

For clean or light OD, I have perfectly great results with everything up front.

Others will most likely chime in.

Caveat: all effects up front with heavy OD is its own non-traditional thing.

Hey guys, could be two Rumble 210 cabs cabled in parallel, like you do with pedals? I have an old amp and there are only 1x4Ohm and 1x8Ohm inputs in it. I would like to do like this. Edit: this is not my panel on amp, its just for example. There is no other 4 Ohm input!

Those are outputs on the amp & yes you can daisy chain it to two cabinets.
I would recommend using your 1/4" speaker wire to go to the first cabinet from the amp & then a SpeakON speaker cable to go from cabinet one to cabinet two.
You can buy a short SpeakON cable or just make your own. If you build your own, use authentic Neutrik SpeakON, accept no substitutes.
for the speaker wire, a jacketed 2 conductor wire of at least 18 awg is best:

this is what I use for speaker wire

Southwire (By-the-Foot) 14-2 SJOOW 300-Volt Black Stranded CU Cord-55812199 - The Home Depot

for some reason 14 awg (bigger diameter than 18 awg) is slightly cheaper at Home Depot

BTW, the reason I suggest at least 18 awg is because 350 Watts at 4 Ohms can reach over 9 Amperes at max power, and 18 awg is rated to conduct up to 10 amps
anything smaller than 18 awg would be too thin to conduct full power

Does the speakon connector not also accept 1/4" plug?

Those don't look like Combo SpeakON inputs. This is a combo (accepts 1/4"):

They're green & not flush.

Read them, still not sure. I get the di, what about phone out and what would i run fx out for aside from effects
OK. First of all the headphones out is for headphones and cuts the sound out from the amp to the speakers. It's also an amplified signal that is too hot for anything other than driving a set of headphones. FX out is good to daisy chain another amp or combo. It could be used to output an unbalanced Hi-Z signal into a sound board, but the balanced mic level XLR out is far superior for that purpose. FX out could also be used as a tuner out if you don't like having a tuner inline with your bass. Some bass players are total purists and insist that nothing be inline with and thus pollute the purity of the bass signal. They will also pay $100 for special instrument cables.
