I think I figured it out......reason why the bass eq control is so hot. With overdrive off, I have to really cut bass to about 9 or 10 o,clock.....but with overdrive on naturally you lose a lot of bass in your signal. With overdrive on, if I put bass "flat" at 12 o'clock it makes overdrive really useful in a band setting. Note: my settings with overdrive on: gain- 12 o'clock; drive- lowest setting; level- unity gain with overdrive disengaged; bass- 12 o'clock; low-mid- 2 o'clock; high-mid1 o'clock;treble- 12 o'clock....Sounds great. Oh yeah........bass Yamaha BB425x.......Rumble 500c and 112 extension cab. Not a club member yet.......
