Fender Rumble Club

I have literally been on my knees asking for Divine Providence. Seriously. I need provision for taking on all that I am being called to do.

The State of Georgia called me at 4:35 yesterday and offered me a senior supervisory law position that includes a dramatic salary increase and a non-standard (less than 40 hour) work week. It literally came out of the blue. He provided.
God Is Good!

Haven't been lurking around the Rumble club for some time, so I'm not sure if this has been brought up.
I was out today and saw a Blonde tolex, brown grill cloth Rumble 200 v3. When did this start happening?

I would've jumped all over it if they made the 500 in the blonde. I'm still pondering switching out the silver cloth on mine. I know it says Fender all over it, but... It does match my silverface twin reverb, I suppose.

Interesting ... GC is showing a pre order on soon to arrive Stealth Gray Rumble 500 combos and they also still have some Stealth & Black Rumble 100's and 25's. Oddly enough they are showing a used Blonde Rumble 200. I wonder if these were a special run for Long & McQuade in Canada?

Been off talkbass a while. Busy with gigs and other stuff.

My.new (to me)/epiphone classic pro neck through Thunderbird with USA Gibson pickups.

Rumble 200 combo+112, no buttons pushed, gain noon, bass noon low mids 1, high mids 2 treble 2 master noon overdrive 9 level noon (when I kick in grit, full dirt is from boss ODB-3, chorus is boss ce-2b. Really barks when pedal and foot switch are kicked in at same time)

Sweet-looking bass!

You don't see many people playing country on a T-bird like that! ;)

I have a soft spot for T-birds, especially non-sunburst finished ones. Back in the bad old days, I had an Epi T-bird. Took the pick guard off, which really looked bad-ass, as the kids say...

Rock on!

I remain,
Your Obedient Servant,

The Terror.
