Fender Rumble Club

I've owned a fender rumble 350 combo for many years. I play classic to punk rock. Played many venues- small medium clubs and outdoor. Always been happy with the tone- warm, punchy low end without being muddy. The tone though diminishes noticeably within about 10-20 feet from the amp, even at higher volume. It's still loud enough to be heard but less low end, and harder to cut through the mix. I figured I needed to switch to a newer combo with more power. Tried out the Rumble 500 & Ampeg PF 500 side by side with my Rumble 350. My 350 was better than both of them- tone and volume. Even the store GC salesman agreed. So if I still want to push the tone/low end out more and cut thru the mix, do I need to switch to a separate amp 500+ watts with a 410 cab? I'm also considering the GK MB212 ii combo but worried it might have the same vintage rock n roll low end I like. Maybe I should just keep the 350 and run it through the PA? Any thoughts?
Get a 500 combo and a 2x10 extension. If you like vintage rock sound, you will love that setup.

Those 350s are solid.
Maybe find a used 350 head and 4x10 ....those V2 4x10s are great for the $

I loved running my 150 or 350 into the PA when I was running either.

That 350 got me a gig with another band...BL was watching the AIC tribute I was playing in...could believe the sound out of such a (relatively) small package and was dealing with a guy who would not downsize from his 8x10 despite the guitarist using a tiny 1x12 combo....stage volume and rig for the gig. Rumbles nail that...

Hilarious
and true! The 'disco lights' in V1 Rumble 60 & 100 combos were to appeal to teenagers, and it worked big time! Introduced in 2003, you still see V1 Rumbles out and about and for sale too. Fender Rumbles have always been the closest thing to 'teenager proof' as Fender's engineers could make them. Rumble's reputation for robust toughness is well earned.

Am I too late to join the club? Loving this 500 combo with 210 extension, pictured with Fender deluxe active p bass.

If I bought a Rumble 150 bass head what should I add for a cabinet
The V2 Rumble 410 was 4 ohms and made specifically for that head. Fender sold these cabs hand over fist for three years for $299 new. They sounded better than great and people snatched them up faster than Fender could make them. Many removed the Fender badging because they were embarrassed to be seen playing such an inexpensive cabinet.

Be aware that the Rumble 150 is only 150 watts at 4 ohms and 80 watts at 8 ohms. Any V3 cabinet will work easily, but if you want 150 watts you'll need two of them. Any reason not to buy a Rumble 200 head instead?

@Linnin I have a question that you might be able to help with. I have a 2006 MIM "Special Diamond Anniversary Edition" P bass in a "Blizzard Pearl" finish... I'm trying to figure out as much info as I can about the neck / fingerboard, most importantly radius, but also profile. Any idea if this information is somewhere to be found? I can't seem to find it in my Google searches...
