Fender Rumble Club

It looks like a big telephone. Do some nip-tuck and it would be a great stage prop. Just don't play phone calls to teenage girls ohHhHhHh Baby !
I hope I didn't embarrass you, but I offer consolation in the fact that my first creations were very bad.
I have for so many time cursed myself for throwing away that big loud juke box amp I found in a collapsing building. The juke box it was in looked like the one George Michael stood by in a video. It was mono, they were on an orange chassis.
I found it in the early 1970's, about 1974.
I had the speaker for it. A 10 or 12.

I can't unsee it now. Oh well. I don't care how it looks at the moment. It sounds awesome. The loaded cab is 49 pounds and in theory it can put out over 120db over a good distance.

I'd put two of those sort of cheap speaker grill covers from MCM over those Emmies. A little sanding and a $2.50 bottle of matte black craft paint should coat it ok. Problem with flat black is when it gets handled, it gets shiny in streaks and spots. There are lots of things in the craft department, base color coat, glitter and glue, clear coat would be more robust but I like flat black. A woman on TV once asked, Why do men have to paint everything black, a color you can't even see ?
I don't know but I like doing the guy thing. LOL

Of all the bass guitars I have looked at in the world, I like the looks of the Jaguar, Jazz, then P Bass, all in the black red gold sunburst.

One bass I'd really like to have is the prop used in ZZ Top's Rough Boy video. The usual horns ended up as scrolls instead of points. And I think the string head had scrolls instead of a simple blunt round-off.

Since I was not pro, I only played through my DIY clusters of amps and cabs. I was just about to buy a new V3 410 and stumbled onto that Ampeg BSE115T for 50$. Like new except as usual on a deal like that it needed a new woofer, found that after I got it home and played it loud. Managed to find an OEM part for $75 and ended up with an = new BSE115T for $125, can't beat that.

But now being not fair, just after I got it all fixed up, someone about 75 miles away had a like new V3 410 for only $75 more duhhh $200. It's like some giant is rattling me around in a big box, quit that please.

Anyway I didn't like the diy junk cluster atmosphere, that like new Ampeg just feels so much better in the atmosphere department.

And finally before giving you guys the vertical and horizontal control back, something every bass cabinet owner should have, a dog screen. ;) Even if it is a piece of cardboard covered with plastic. If that dog should ever shift into high gear, you're in trouble.

Lots of Fender gear in my house last night:

Anyone have experience with rattles and weird resonant frequencies with the v2 Rumble cabs? I seem to have a grill rattle in one of my 12s and a weird resonance when I play around D/E in the other one. The one with the resonance actually had a loose speaker that I took the grill off to tighten up and now it is giving that sound even with the grill off. The grill on these is not easy to get back in place either unfortunately and that is part of the reason that it is off. I will do anything that I need to in order to get these back in good working condition but am looking for advice. Thoughts?

Maybe the drummer went to take the dog out.

Does anyone know what the speaker sensitivity (an any other specs) is for the 15 that comes the Rumble 200?
Yes. Both Fender and Eminence know. Fender doesn't publish woofer specs on any of their combos and cabinets. You can look at the specs for Eminence ceramic 15's to get a ballpark feel. You could even call Eminence and ask them. Fender isn't going to tell you. Bass Guitar | Eminence Speaker
Is it the same 15 that comes in the 15" extension cab?
Yes, they are the identical woofer.

I had a pair of V2 Rumble 112's. I never had any resonance problems. Pull your woofer and take a peak inside to look for anything amiss. Feel around inside for anything in the lining. Make sure your connections are good and tight. Reseating and retorquing you woofers may do it. Use a star (crisscross) pattern (just like changing a tire) when tightening. As for grill rattles, I put thick electrical tape on the baffle board where the grill comes in contact and also wrapped the grill edges with electrical tape. Again even torque on the grill screws being careful not to strip. Good Luck!
