Fender Rumble Club

Though you can hook up the 210 to the combo as well. Why do you prefer the head?
Initially I was looking for a backup/alternate rig....I already had a GK MB212-ii combo and didn't really want another combo. In addition, I wanted the option of being able to add or swap cabinets if/when needed, or just bring the head along, etc, so really just the added flexibility. I ended up liking the Rumble so much, its typically my first choice and the GK stays home:)

I’ve been plugging my GK Plex’s output into the effects loop return of my Rumble 500 combo and it sounds good, but lacks volume. Even with the Plex’s master volume cranked it’s still nowhere near the volume of plugging the bass straight into the Rumble’s input. The Plex supposedly puts out 10v p-p and can drive power amps. What is the Rumble’s effect loop looking for in terms of signal?

How large a gig could I do with a rumble 500 head and a rumble 210 cab? Assuming I wanted a relatively clean sound. I have a rumble 500 head paired with a 4 ohm 212 I made but I am thinking of getting a rumble cab to do smaller gigs around town, and I'm leaning towards the 210 over the 410 for the lighter weight.

I run my 500 cab through a 410 most of the time and have no trouble turning it down for small venues. Sure its about half again the weight of a 210, but small folding handcart handles it for long hauls. For the additional $50 I would go put uo with the increase in weight so I have plenty of headroom at larger venues/churches. Or if you can afford it, get on of each!:D

I just got this off Ebay. So far I love it

Are you using the “output” or the “send”?
