low sales the American had the advantage of being active or passive. Plus had separate active and passive controls. It was on the expensive side. I happen to like the Jaguar body style. What made them unpopular? Sometimes I like unpopular....

I connect my Tone Hammer DI through my Rumble effects loop and I have not experienced the same issue.....it has the same volume and headroom available as the onboard preamp.Output of the GK Plex into the return of the Rumble. I think that the issue may be the input impedance of the Rumble’s fx loop return.
I’ve been plugging my GK Plex’s output into the effects loop return of my Rumble 500 combo and it sounds good, but lacks volume.
I checked out your owner's manual (maybe you should do the same) and the output is specifically made to be input into the front end/pre amp or another pedal etc. You need to use the FX send output jack into Your Fender Rumble's FX return jack and all will be copacetic. There is nothing wrong with your Fender Rumble. It is operating as designed. Try that and I'm sure you'll be buying a new roof.Output of the GK Plex into the return of the Rumble. It went the way of the Roscoe Beck and some other Fender models that are demanding high used prices today.low sales the American had the advantage of being active or passive. Plus had separate active and passive controls. It was on the expensive side. I happen to like the Jaguar body style.

But the smart ones doC'mon now, real men don't read owner's manuals. Pfffffft

Probably got in the habit of carrying an identical backup when he played through Ampegs or Marshalls.Backup. smart.
How come I hear very little about Jaguar basses?
I'm new to Rumble. I see that the current offerings have a v3 on them. My Rumble 500 head doesn't have a V-anything on it. Does that mean v1? Is that a bad thing?
Your Rumble is a V3. Search up the Rumble Talks for a history lesson and hit up @G-Dog's Wiki Rumble page for links & photos.
I love Jaguars. I don’t love the neck dive.
Neck dive? Which model did you find that on? MIA? MIM? Short scale? ???
Certainly not a bit on my CIJ model.

All Jags neck dive because of the short horn. Of course, neck dive is very dependent on your body and the length of strap you’re comfortable with. It’s subjective of course.

Uh, no. Neck dive is a balance thing that can be objectively measured by hanging the strap over a peg, if need be. And the Jaguar's lack of a short horn, on the neck side, and additional offset body area, on the bridge side, would more likely contribute to neck rise!

That won’t work. FX send on Plex is pre master vol and FX return on Rumble is post everything - going into the FX return, the gain, EQ, and master have no affect.
