That is very uncharacteristic of any Fender Rumble. I'd pull the woofer. If you are not adverse to properly lining the cab, I'd do so. Then carefully retorque the woofer in a star pattern tightening the screws gradually and evenly. Even if you don't line, pull; reseat, and retourque the woofer.
Any suggestions on what to unassemble? Do I just start by removing the screws from the grill on the front? I am not afraid to turn a wrench (or screwdriver) I have repaired electronics and cars but I am also not afraid to read the directions. ;)

Yes, remove the grill. Be careful to keep track of the screws and rubber gromits. They much more easily removed than replaced. Much patience required. Then untourque/lossen the woofer screws. Easy. Remove the woofer. Look inside (use a flashlight). Remove anything foreign.

Tighten the screws around the tweeter in a star pattern. Tourque down evenly. Re-instal the woofer using the very same star pattern tighten all the screws evenly tourquing them down evenly and snugly. Do not over tighten and strip them out!

That should do you. If it doesn't, then a call to Fender Consumer Relations is in order (480) 596-7195

Alright mate.
I'm still waiting and given up calling them. To be fair it's not the shops fault but I'm patient. After all they have lent me a Rumble 200 combo that I've been using at home with ipod plugged into and with and without headphones, also at the studio too. Man. I love this thing. I was renting an amp at the studio, Peavy or Line 6 though Marshall 4x10s( I think) depending what room we were in, but this little f****r kicks arris. So when I get my 500 it'll be even better.
