I ordered the 25 combo a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, wifie grabbed it when it came a wrapped it for Christmas, so it was unboxed this morning! Here it is next to it's big brother 200 combo!

It sounds great for the size and has more than enough punch for my purposes.

Hey Rumble guys.... These days I just play in my church thru the house PA. Have a small 65W practice amp at home. Been gassing for a Rumble 200 for a while now just to knock the dust off the ceilings...... Maybe six months ago I started feeling the need and I am certain I was seeing Rumble 200’s in the 350-375 range. Now that I am ready to pull the trigger suddenly I can find none less than 449.00..... I’m not poor and can afford it but don’t want to drop the extra coin if I can help it. Is it maybe because of the season or has there been a recent price hike on these babies?

Hey @Aberdumbie, you just missed MF/GC's 15% off Christmas pricing on Fender. Just call and ask. Tell them you got Christmas Money. See what they say.

Imo, stay on the house Pa, unless you are using the DI feature (line out). Imo, most bassists amps are too loud in a worship environment. In my church, the bass drowns out the Foh. And I sit closer to the foh speakers than to the choir.

You will love the 200 @Aberdumbie. The sound, power and weight are amazing. I have a old Peavey KB100 with a 15" that weighs nearly three times that of my 200 combo.

I bought mine used with a cover and casters on eBay (I think) for $300 a couple of years ago. Be patient and keep looking. It may take some time but you may find one for less than retail.

Oh yeah.... No plans to change the church configuration. I rattle the rafters and it sounds superb. I want the Rumble for my own playtime.

The 200 runs 160w @8 and 200w @4. You may have seen the the 500 which runs about 350w @8/500w @4.
449.00 has been the street price on the 200 combo for quite some time now... a year maybe?
Even the used ones are pricy these days at about $300. The Rumble V3's are getting a lot if love these days.

Merry Christmas everyone

I appreciate that. I had a big Peavy Combo that I lugged all over thru the 1980’s. When the kids at church asked me to come out of retirement a couple years ago, first thing I did was lug that big Peavy combo to their first rehearsal and gifted it to them. Gawd that thing gained more weight than me since the 1980’s.
