Fender Rumble Club

Thanks, you two, you've just made my decision easier and saved me some $$. 50 years ago I had and 100 watt amp with 2- 15" JBL D140's that filled auditoriums with the best Fender sound from the '60's. I hope the Rumble 200 with 1 - 15" will do the same (or with a second 15). Just ordered one from MF with the 15% discount and will check back in for my member number when it arrives! Happy New Year to all...

I didn't like the way the 210 loaded combo sounded nearly as much as the way the 115 loaded combo sounded - and I tend to go for a "vintage P bass sound", too... IMO, there wasn't as much of a volume difference between the two as one might think - and to *my* ears, the 200 Combo sounded way better...

Head and 15" for that very reason plus the extra volume.

:bassist: WOOT! :woot:

Would an added fender rumble 112 cab add anything to my 200 combo?
I really like the sound of my 15 but would like a matching ext cab underneath for the extra watts but only if it not mess up the vintage fender sound.
Der Urbanator seems to be dead, or imprisoned, or just gone, but he played drop tuned heavy/death metal with a Rumble 200 combo and a Rumble 112 cabinet underneath to evil effect. It appears to have destroyed him, so I would say it is quite an effective configuration.
