Yes! We finally have official Fender info: Fender's Rumble Product Listing
The single owner's manual is under the Rumble Studio 40 info.
Man, I wish the 40 had a direct out other than the 1/8" headphone jack. It makes me yearn for the 800 for sure. But the 500 is so good already! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!
Use the balanced line out for your di, it's the xlr plug.
I thought someone earlier on here said the stage 40 didn't have line outs.
I can see here it does. Very cool.
Rumble™ Studio 40
The stage appears to have the flimsy usb mini. I suppose the wifi means you don't need it much but these mini jacks are so fragile.
At least it has a real AC cord.
Ack ! Another "Stage 40" reference! Oh, well . . .
How about a less ambiguous abbreviation, like St40, or simply S40, vs the "plain" 40?
No problem with the 800, there is only one, "The Stage”.
Photo shows my rigs: my 12" combo, and pair of 115s stacked below my GK MB500 amp. I had a chance to try out the 12" combo for practice in the church last night. I am quite impressed by the light weight at 22#, and the good sound quality; especially liked the vintage effect. One has to respect that this is only a 12 inch speaker, but for practice, and a small gig without a drummer it could certainly suffice. Much has been written about the line out, and I tried it last night. I was extremely happy with the sound quality, and in fact, I preferred it to the sound from my sansamp paradriver DI (either clean or with overdrive). Turning up the volume on the amp made only very small changes-barely perceptible-in the output through the PA. So it is definitely a keeper.
Thanks for that testimony, @DownLowJoe. Enjoy, and Rumble on!
I'm really gassing for a Studio 800
Yeah! An 80 watt version with an 8 inch speaker and no external speaker jack!!
I'm gassing for a . . . .
I gigged with my 100c for the first time at a small bar a few weeks back. With a drummer and no p.a. support, it did remarkably well.
Oh. I see my mistake now but Fender is the culprit. Is it a Rumble? Is it a v4? Now we have to ask s it a stage or studio? It's too much. That's on Fender.
That's good to know. I suspect you must have band mates that play at reasonable volumes.
Lotsa love here for quiet drummers!
Yep, you got a point there, @Scatabrain. Well, it's def a Rumble, says so right on it. But, yeah, it could be a v4! "40v3 vs 40v4" makes sense to me. Hey, nothing says versions can't coexist in current production.
That initial sound in the demo is pretty fabulous:
BTW, if you hadn't noticed, Linnin is out of purgatory now, but hasn't posted yet.
Kinda sounds like an Ampeg!
I can't access the US Fender website outside of the US! Is there another way I can get a hold of the Studio 40 manual?
