Fender Rumble Club

I love the idea of a Mustang bass, but I just wish they could make one without the J pickup. I would order one today, and I wouldn't be alone. Even the old Musicmasters were amazing. I assume the Mustang PJ (the post above) is a beast, also!! I just want a genuine Fender short scale Precision. The Precision Jr. is rare and still in demand. I don't want it to say any name but USA or MIM Fender. Fender can get back on the shortscale Precision train any time now.

That would be a problem. The mods disapprove of any brand bashing.

While I think that maybe true to an extent search the site for topics covering things like pretty much anything Behringer or Harbinger and you will see the mods overlooked brand bashing.

The three way switch allows you to turn the J pickup off...problem solved, at least for me ;).

On my VM Jag SS, I'll turn the
"J"pup on then I remember I don't like it so I turn it back off. I'm happy(?)with the Jag and the "P" pup so I'm set- at least 'til Publishers Clearing House pays off.

Thanks Linnin, we always take a chance going by web recommendations and new tech so it's great when it turns out it lives up to expectations. I have been totally satisfied with my Rumble gear, and honestly, the sound is right in the ballpark of the SVT I had and the LAB4 230 W SS head I had (which is now broken, but I would like to get it fixed). Don't get me wrong, I never drove the MIGHTY SVT too far because the pain was too great to bear, but the Rumble, to me, delivers the a similar sound as both the SVT and the LAB4 Solid state. And also I don't want to push it to the limit. You know, hearing and all. But the tone is right up there with the greats. Viva La Rumble.
I also never really pushed my SVT and I've not needed to push my R200c. I like the tone(s) I can get from the Rumble and the fact I can put it in the van with one hand. Maybe "The Hulk" could do that w/ a SVT but not me.
