Apparently, a matching 210 cab is in the works. And they’re definitely considered Rumbles. Says so right there on the top panel.

I think that's really the answer-what you play or are most likely to play. I,too,started playing bass in the 60s and have always preferred 12s and 15s. My R200C and R112 give me the best all around sound I could ask for-and carry. Addendum: In the early 80s I owned a "fridge"(810). I liked it fine 'til I hadda move it. AND, I never felt it was"bassy"enough.Hey, Aaron...I will give you a different slant on this, FWIW.
I come from the "dark ages" of the 60's, playing soul, blues and R & B. At that time, the best sound came from 15" drivers. To quote your expression in a previous post, "15's seemed a little bassy". That, to me, is a good thing!
More recently, a good friend of mine and a gigging "rock" musician said 10" drivers were the best for him because they cut through the loud guitarists and drummers. I didn't argue with him because he has a different situation and, apparently found a solution.
Long story, short, the decision for the size of the drivers rests with you, the music you play and who you play it with.
It is unfortunate that Fender eliminated the 12" option (at least for now). You can still go with a Rumble 200 or 500 head, but you will have to source an alternative 12" cab, if that is the compromise you are prepared to make. I am happy with 15's because I know I can make them work for the music I play...IMHO.

I was eye ballin' that cab, but I got a NOS v2 112, I thought I'd get the one you got and change the grill so they match, you can find that metal grill online from about $35 to $60, bend the edges, spray paint and a close match, at least that is my thought.
Not finding a used or NOS anywhere in this country it's darn near impossible, I can't believe there are not any for sale at all
Fender really should reconsider selling this item, grrrr, frustrating, I will endure though.

I'll keep searching and report back. I'm in the middle, there's part of me that's very "Old School" which would lean towards the 15s. There's another part that thinks I should have something in case I need to "punch through." I'm looking for something versatile.
I may split the difference and do a 210 and a 115. It looks like I need to find a place to try the 210 cab. The place where I tried the 200h and the 115 cab has an 800c which would allow me to hear 210s with a different amp. That would give me some idea as to what 210s sound like though would not be an apples to apples comparison.

That's exactly one of the setups I was imagining with maybe a 200h as an option for a lower wattage rig. I'm too early in my search to be able to jump on it though.

That's easy! Just find a Rumble 500 combo to audition. Same drivers. Same box.
