I've not heard of anyone "over clocking" the Rumble 500, or any other amp, actually. I suppose you could use as many, and as large, cabs as you can find; so long as the total impedance doesn't fall below 8 ohms. In most cases that means a single, multi-driver cab at 8 ohms, or two 16 ohm cabs.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm going to check out a few pedals.

I can totally see the appeal of the Zoom B3(n) looking at prices here. Off the bat I'm leaning towards a Source Audio Orbital Mod and a Crybaby Bass. Which does run more expensive then a Zoom and expression pedal by a bit. We're I to need more effects it'd be a great option.

And if Fender made a Stage 800 head when I went to buy my 500H I almost certainly would have got that instead. I've tried to reason myself into saving for a Stage but I never use speakers at home, the Rumble V3 sounds stupidly good anyway, silver grill cloths are way sexier IMO, and I preffer simplicity with the band. I've never been in a situation where I have much time between songs even at a practice.

A Studio would be pretty cool, and I could technically slave the 500H to it... and it'd only be an extra $200 or so compared to two new pedals... tempting but it'd also be quite the upsize to my rig depending on the size of the Studio's footswitch. Right now my pedalboard bag hangs off my amp head's bag over my shoulder, bass goes on back, cab in hands. It's not a comfortable carry but it works really well.

Absolutely. It will be enough power for sure. I gigged with the 500 combo and no cab and it handled a room without PA easily.

Yes. +3dB is noticeably louder. The really BIG difference is in adding the Rumble 210 to the Rumble 500 combo then you're off to rock the arenas with the big boys.

I was thinking of maybe hunting down a pair of 112s and getting both the 200h and the 500h which would allow me to the options of one 112 with the 200h for 140 watts into one 12" speaker for small gigs, two 112s with the 200h for 200 watts into two 12" speakers for most other gigs and the two 112s with the 500h for 500 watts into two 12" speakers for bigger gigs.
I'm in FL so I'm trying to figure out when I'll be close to the Clearwater Sam Ash to try that 112 demo mentioned in another post.

Yeah. I’ve been there. It’s beautiful!
We stayed at a place called Opal Sands for an anniversary once. It was great!
The issue is I’m on the Atlantic side of FL by Melbourne so it’s like 5-6 hours of driving round trip for me.
I was trying to think of a time I’d be on that side of FL for another reason.
