Yes, most definitely they do. It's a polyester kind of blanket and comes in rolls. It is most often used in comforters (duvet for you French and Brits) and inexpensive sleeping bags for children and teens. It is inexpensive yet effective. So worry not, it's in there! Acoustically engineered anechoic foams are better but far more expensive.

Thanks Linnin, I was going to PM you, but thought its good info. Its exactly the same as what I have in my other cabs then. My Rumble 25 combo did NOT have any material, but I put some "jute" in there that I had and that sounds great! Fender has been great with all the larger Rumble cabs and combos and loooking forward to this!

At a gig last night, i started with my Rumble several feet behind me up on a small raised section of the stage. The sound was muffled and not at all clear. In-between sets I put the cab up on a new stand I recently purchased(few posts back)....that really did the trick, no more boomy hollow stage sound, things cleared right up. It holds the 210 at the perfect angle.

You are welcome @mikecd1. Yes all the smaller Rumble combos from the 100 down are naked inside and could most definitely benefit from some acoustic lining. Polyester batting is a good readily available low cost option.

And much better than G&L too. The Dimension pickups are the key. The elongated pole pieces are called 'staples' and are integral to the Dimension's unique sound. Maybe Fender's bass pickup engineer, Michael Bump, @Bluzman99 will be kind enough to comment.

They're awesome pickups, and I always assumed those staples played a big part in why. I love that they never sounded overly clanky or too hot. I'm very, very picky about bass humbuckers and these are pretty great in my books.

It depends how handy your are. If you change your own oil & filer; replace your kitchen faucet yourself, replace electrical switches and sockets, fix your toilet. If you can do these kinds of simple jobs, then you can easily pull out your woofer and line your cabinet properly. I'd use foam and upgrade the driver too while I was at it. Spending more than the combo is worth on the used marketplace, but it sure is fun to do. Take detailed photos and draft an exciting new thread!

It’s a simple enough job. I did it on my Rumble 15, and the 40 should be just as easy. It was a simple matter of unscrewing four screws, lifting the driver out, and stuffing the cabinet with polyester wadding. Link to post w/photo below:

Just be sure to retorque your woofer in a criss-cross pattern evenly and go around three times shooting for even pressure/torque. Do Not over tighten or strip out the t-nuts.

The only unusual thing I've heard about the speakers in the Rumble 200 is that it's the same as the 15" Eminence speakers in the Rumble 115 extension cabs! "Unusual" because instead of being spec'd to handle only the 140 watts of the combo alone (not to mention the 100 watts of the combo with extension cab), it can actually handle 300 continuous watts or 600 program watts. Way overspec'd for the combo! It often handles 250 watts in the extension cab with the Rumble 500 combo, and sometimes up to 350 watts with the Rumble 500 head.

To what kind of issue might you be referring?

Oh, maybe you're seeing some of the "upgrade fever" posts here in the Rumble Club and elsewhere in the forum. Personally, I think it's a lot of "greener grass" dreaming. Or maybe they just got a few bucks burning a hole in their pockets, or something. Don't recall anyone saying there's anything wrong with the stock speakers, just "might be better" to upgrade.

I am wanting to add a 2x10 extension cab to my Rumble Stage 800. Does anyone have a tentative release date for one that matches the black grill and cabinet hardware on the 800 from Fender? My OCD would go into overdrive if the cabs did not match and I really don’t relish the thought of redoing the grill and corner hardware on a new cab...thanks!

Here is a pic of my Rumble 100 I got about 6 months ago. I really like it, and it is easy to schlep around. It is my practice/rehearsal amp.I will be using it on a boat gig next month (trio).

No Issues, except that they are way over spec'd and sound way too damn good for the price you pay.
Alarming, I know, but I'll live with it and do! My Rumble 200 is issue free for many years now. Enjoy your new Fender Rumble 200 Combo!
