Hmm, didn't notice that. Still, w/ Reverb's backing, should be OK. I put return address labels on all my cables, extension cords and amps. You could do that! Or ask whussup?
Yeah, I just looked at it. NO Sale! With brand new Rumble 200 heads at $300 shipped and with two year warranty it is worth it to go brand new. Half price used would be OK if you could audition it first.

The guy scratched off the sticker that had the serial number.
There was one on there recently that went for $195 shipped!
If I had had the money, I would have gone for it.
He had repaired it which also means there was something wrong with it. I guess he removed the serial number because of that which I'm sure voided the warranty.
Yeah, definitely not Kosher. On the Bassman25, there's an external speaker jack that disables the internal speaker. I've run it through my R112 and it sounds remarkably good. Probly be the same w/ your 115

There is never a good reason to remove or alter or in this case deliberately deface a serial number. PLUS it's against the law! Don't deal with criminals. Ever. For any reason.

It is illegal to alter or remove a serial number from a motor vehicle or a firearm. Removal from a bass amp if it is your personal property? Dumb and maybe sketchy, but I doubt it to be “against the law”.

On the bright side, it's an absolutely beautiful day here in the gorgeous Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Ample rains have kept everything nice and green and the corn is eight to ten feet tall. I haven't been down to Danville in a good long while, but I am sure the tobacco crop is stellar this year. I have afforded myself a small flagon of fine Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, and I am enjoying it immensely. A most joyous Whiskey Wednesday to you all. Cheers.

Capital Idea, @Aaron Houts! The V2 Rumble 350 would be an absolutely stellar compliment to your pair of 115 cabinets! I forget how many watts into 8 ohms. Let's see here, oh! OK, Fender doesn't specify. The owner's manual just states 370 watts@4ohms. I think I remember a figure of 222 clean continuous watts at 8 ohms from the schematic. Yes! That's it, 222 watts at 8 ohms.

and I am telling you what, the V2 Fender Rumble 350 head just blasts A$$ all the way to the rings of Saturn! It's a Killer bass amp and the OverDrive is better than the V3's. You can blend it in and get this magnificent kick a$$ tube tone for days. Sustain to the outer edges of the Solar System.
