Well, what did you think?

Adding the extension cab performs just as you would expect, namely, the sound/tone stays the same (with the expected bump in perceived low end, especially considering that I had the horn padded down on the extension 210), and the overall volume was significantly more than I needed. Getting the Stage 800 up higher definitely helped, as well. Unless I was doing something more intimate, I would most likely always gig with the extension cab, so that I have more volume/headroom on tap, and to get the combo up closer to my ears.

I took that photo, and I can assure you that it is one Stage 800 with the matching 210 extension cab.

I finally got the kids to sit still long enough for a family picture. I feel fortunate to have the Fender strap that's on the Telecaster. They didn't make them very long.

My blues band broke up about a year ago and for some reason (stupid me...) I sold the R500c I used for this band. My rock band still rocks on and my 2*R115 cabs and R500 head still makes me smile every time I plug in my Precision or Gibson EB3 and cranck it up

Last week I joined a new band, a Beatles tribute band, and today I drowe to our second rehearsal via DLX Music in Helsinki and picked up new a R200c.

The bandmates where just praising my sound up to the sky. Between every song the drummer just had to mention how good my small combo sounded and the guitarist made mistakes in the middle of songs as he concentrated more on my bass sound than on his own playing

Beeing a Beatles band I played my Rick 4003s and Hofner violin through it, both sounding just amazing.

Good to hear from you @Mvf. Picking up a Rumble 200 combo certainly was the smart thing to do. Especially since you have a pair of Rumble 115 cabinets. You can always put your combo on top of a 115 and hook 'em up! Mo' Rumbles Is Mo' Betta!

Yes, the 200 on top of the 115 is about as good as it gets. Bass tone so thick it's almost hard to walk through it.

Well, next week is my birthday and I think the wifey's gonna let me get an extension cab for my 500c. So after a lot of talk and bluster, my only decision is... 1x15 or 2x10. It's been talked to death already, I know. I figure it's unlikely anyone actually HAS both to make a true, experienced based decision. I like the sound of the 2x10 an awful lot, and I've heard "If you like the 2x10 sound, get another. It's more of the same." So I guess really I'm just looking for a last minute, "which would you choose?". The $50 difference really doesn't matter. (paid more for a cheap dinner at O'Charleys!)

If I'm leaning any direction, it's probably towards the 2x10 - but really it's practically even. Alas, I won't be able to side-by-side test them. I'm absolutely sure I won't be making a mistake either way, just curious about those with experience with em. (I was seriously considering a 2nd 500c and just slaving them. But I've not the $ for that really.)

Oh, and I have absolutely no real need. Just a lot of want.

The simple answer is a question:do you want a fatter, deeper, old schoolish sound or more modern mid-rangey? My feeling is that you can cut lows if you need to but you can't add them if they aren't there. Either way, you'll be happy-and you'll always wonder if you shoulda gone the other route. What you have is a serious case of GAS. It is curable, for a price. Good luck. (BTW, I have the R200C and R112 cab) [big help, right?]

WOOT! Everyone knows my love of 15 inch woofers. And that I couldn't care less for someone else's neurotic OCD mental limitations. In fact I like the asymmetric configuration of the combos on top of the Rumble 115. You have chosen (or flipped) wisely. Rumble On!

I use a 500c with a 210 extension cab. I've never been happier with my bass rig. Good luck with your choice

I use a 500c with a 210 extension cab. I've never been happier with my bass rig. Good luck with your choice

Great thing is, it doesn't sound like I can really go wrong either way.
