Da Comrade! And, as the venerable @Linnin has been known to say, Mo Rumble is Mo Betta

Got my 500 back, it was in decent shape, the buyer surprisingly didn't damage it further. It's still a beast to play at home. Has anyone turned it around and/or used sound foam on the wall to help while playing at home? the room is quite a bit more narrow than the old house and the rest of the house. It sounds great in the dining room, but hey the wifey no likey there.
You get Rumble Studio 40. Is good. Da Comrade!I've tried the headphone route, unfortunately I get fatigued quick and have to stop playing....too much hearing loss from my youth

Well too much rock and roll is a good thing until you turn 50 and realize how much you really can't hear, just don't tell my wife, I still nod approvingly to what she saysThat is unfortunate. A 40 sounds like a good solution then.

I am only opining from my limited experience with only one amp, the 200c. I'm betting a bigger or better amp like yours probably dos sound great with mixed cabs. I just got an Ampeg SVT Classic yesterday from the UPS fairy. I love that guy. I am looking for bigger, better, faster amp combs than my Acoustic B410s. I am now rethinking my options. An Ampeg 410 with some sort of good quality 15! The Ampeg is a monster. With respect, I disagree. My GK 400RB sounds great with a 2x10 plus 1x15 speaker configuration.
Don’t turn around, uh-oh... der Kommisar’s in town, uh-oh!You get Rumble Studio 40. Is good. Da Comrade!![]()

Is true! You don't get Rumble 40, Rumble 40 get you.
I really don't know what I was thinking. Please disregard my horrible English. Does and cabs. Does and cabs. Does and cabs. I really must start reviewing BEFORE I post.I am only opining from my limited experience with only one amp, the 200c. 2x10 and a 15 are a great combo, I used my ampeg 15 with the 500 combo and it will slay a dragon when neededYes, I am hoping I have the same experience as some others ...that the 115 cab will nicely complement the combo by enhancing old school lows. Will know soon.

The 800 doesn't really add much in the way of power over the 500, but for a few more dollars am getting bluetooth input, multi-purpose foot switch(including a tuner), effects I want like reverb and tremolo, plus a kazilion presets to play with and more...yeah, worth it for me.If it were me, and it isn't, but I would go for silver grill cloth on that 800, and replace the corners with Chrome. I like the black / silver classic Fender look...
Just wondering, other than the added power, why go for the 800 over the 500? My 500 has more oomph than I can use 100% of the time, I am constantly trying to find the "low enough" point on it...
Sorry, but that is not permitted. One buys Rumbles. One does Not sell Rumbles. That's why I'm selling the 500, probably get the studio 40, I rather like the amp models that I've tested out so far. A used 40 is a good avenue too. This wasn't a problem at the old house, just shakes my room too much lol. And as we all know this amp needs to breathe and it sounds glorious when it does.
