Be careful . You'll get a nasty letter from P E T D [people for the ethical treatment of dragons]2x10 and a 15 are a great combo, I used my ampeg 15 with the 500 combo and it will slay a dragon when needed

Get the Studio 40 and then decide if you need the additional Rumble 115. I hope you are playing the gigs that would require you to get one.Currently have: 200 combo
GAS Add #1: 115 cab
GAS Add #2: Studio 40
Home practice: Studio 40
When volume is needed: Studio 40 driving the 200c or 200c+115

I love the 115!!Rumble 500 combo extension cabinet 210 or 115? Which would you go with?

Well said!!210 + 210. No argument against this configuration. In the Rumble line you get the exact same drivers in the exact same diagonal array. Stack one on top of the other and you get the much vaunted cabinet coupling effect. All good. Nothing bad.
Why even think about a 115? Why? Because you like it! You don't need any other reason. But if you need some; 15" woofers give you broader dispersion of air moved and attendant sound waves. The bigger the woofer the smoother the midrange. 15s are magic in the smooth well dispersed mids department. If you've not seriously listened to some superb 15" woofers lately, I strongly suggest you do so. Inexpensive as they may be, the custom designed Eminence 15" drivers are nothing short of spectacular. This why I would rather have a Rumble 500 head + a pair of Rumble 115 cabinets as opposed to any 210+210 arrangement. Maximum SPL and amount of air moved will be almost identical. Tone will not. 15s for me please.
I actually went with a 3rd option...the separate 500 head and 210. At the time I already had a Combo, didn't want two and wanted the flexibility of swapping cab's or heads should I ever want to. I recently added a second 210...BOOM.Rumble 500 combo extension cabinet 210 or 115? Which would you go with?
I love the R112 w/ the R200C. I just hardly ever have the need for it. But, when I do...............I love the 115!!![]()

Thank You @EatS1stBassist. I know I'm opinionated & controversial, but being radical gets to the heart of the matter.Well said!!

Funny stuff(except for the deceased part). Sounds like it was a shipload of good times.Da Comrade! Is Pravda
The true story behind the Linnin moniker is as follows. After an especially productive night of improvisation recorded on the fly at my now sadly deceased best friend's studio in Richmond, we were naming each piece. Mike (a.k.a. Turbo-Fish) came up with the title Linnin for a piece built around an original bass ostinato of mine. A simple play on the fine cloth known as linen. I've been Linnin ever since, and it's on my license plates. Before that we had a somewhat fictional band named Poom DaDa and the Soundies. It was an ad hoc all original ensemble made up of various local musicians. It was considered a high honor to be deemed good enough to be a Soundie. Poom DaDa was the actual band/group and not a real person. As time went by people began calling me Der Poomer! And so it was, but I am Linnin now. Not a commie, but I am a lefty. Just not a leftist. Sadly all the original music files & hard copy recordings were trashed after Mike's sudden heart failure. I have a few pieces, but not that many. Certainly not 20+ years worth of material.

Oh it was! As wild as it was weird. We would go way out there. Like Frank Zappa, we recorded everything. Most of it on an old ReVox half track. Digital toward the end.Sounds like it was a shipload of good times.
