Those (are very nice and) have a different body shape then modern T-Birds. Here's the Pro IV I mentioned.
This guy would fall neck first off my lap at the store. There are solutions and plenty of people play basses that I find unplayable because of even worse neckdive (like the Epiphone EB3). Even the Fender Jaguar and Ibanez Talman have some dive to em and thus I don't play em.
For me if I'm using my left hand to hold up the bass I tend to start shifting around more, which leads to unnatural positions, which leads to pain, which leads to me just feeling tired instead of enjoying playing. So I'm very picky with my basses that way.
That Epiphone Thunderbird Pro IV is incredible though otherwise. Neck is great, body is beautiful, sounds incredible through the R200C, and it's really well made.
The farther away from the 12th fret that top strap button is the farther the reach is to the first fret, which makes them more difficult to play.
This thing is KILLER! I can’t believe how loud it gets especially with the silly distortion settings, without shredding the speakers.
