The MDB cover for the Rumble 25 I keep at my Mom’s house in Iowa showed up. It fit well and looks nice. I think it was around $30.

Congrats! Were I in the market for a more affordable and traditional bass I'd look into: Epi Thunderbird Pro IV, the new blue sparkly Squier Jazz with matching headstock, some sort of Sterling/SUB Ray, or a Players P in buttercreame. Chances are I'd take the Jazz because I don't like the neck dive on Thunderbirds, but a Stingray is a great addition to any bass collection and the Players P is a P Bass and therefor brilliant as well.

FWIW, I have 2 T-Birds. Neither one "neckdives" Nor does the Les Paul 5er

Those are sweet! I’ve got a hair metal days pointy bass, picked up for 100 bucks.

Thank you for this site....LOVE my Rumbles. Just bought the 200 but honestly for my needs prefer the 100 with the Eminence S2012 Neo driver. It's 20.6 lbs , puts out a super quality sound, and my 66 year old back is happy.........

Welcome Rumbler #994! Sorry if I missed you previously. The 200 gets a lot of love here, but that is the only Rumble I don't have. I do like my 100 a lot, but interestingly, it is even too much for a couple of P&W gigs I do, so I take my 40. You're not old yet; so, Rumble on!

There are Rumbles everywhere I play!
At the open mic I went to they had the v2 R65.
There’s a Rumble in the room where I take my lessons at the shop.
I’m now in an acoustic trio (yay!) and our aforementioned open mic got us a gig at that place (yay again!) so we had our first practice at one of the guys’ studio and the guy has a v2 R150!
This is so great because it’s helping me get used to Rumble gear which is what I own anyway!
...and even though a Rumble magically appears anytime I have to play without my own amp, what’s there is still not as good as my v2 R350h and v3 115 cabs.
Im getting pretty comfortable working with the head and one cab. I’ll break out the two cab rig when we add a drummer.

I think I may be on the eve of a NBD this evening! I have a Dr.'s appointment tomorrow, and the wife just informed me that we could visit Guitar Center and pick out a belated birthday present!

I'm very excited, but I don't know what I should get! First choice would be an Epi Thunderbird in white or black, but if not available, I am thinking about a Players Series P or J...(trying to stay well short of a grand)

Anything else I should be looking at? (obviously, my tastes are more "traditional", and I play 4 strings only, so...)

I am PSYCHED!!!!
