Fender Rumble Club

Had 2 shows yesterday. Played the Lincolnville Porch Fest @ Dog Rose Brewery and then opened for a band out of Atlanta @ Sarbez last night.

Both shows got cut short because the powers that be are not as organized as they should be and had the schedules all running late. But I used my GK MB212II for the first show (Small stage and a long walk to load in/out) and the Rumble Rig last night at the Sarbez show. Had a lot of complements on my tone.

I've paired my Rumble 500 combo (210) with a Bassman 115 Neo with great success. So, I wouldn't think twice about pairing any combination of Fender 210 and 115 with a Fender head.

Others here have had success with other brand cabs and heads, but I'd ask about specifics in those cases.

You've mentioned your heads. What specific cabs do you have a chance at?

V3 series, Rumble 112 and 210.

PMed you earlier on a non Rumble matter. Lemme know what you think. On a Rumble related matter, I might put my R112 up for grabs. I love the sound of the 200c/112 stack, but I have Very few places to use it(them?). Still in the thinking about it stage. I just hate to see it go to waste/die of old age.

You may have a problem getting a "stencil" from a commercial source due to legal entanglements. I tried and got that response from an amp/speaker cover maker.

May I suggest that you just order the logo of your choice from the Fender site ($10.00) or dealer and affix it to the cover you are having made? Also, Fender sells "dust covers" for a variety of amps and cabs. Not the ultimate in protection, but the price is right and the logo is included "free". ;).

Fortunately, I know someone who makes them for me - all it costs is a few dollars duckcloth canvas for a custom cover. When I bought my Revsound cab, he sent me one a stencil.

The Rumble V3 210 is rated to take the full 350 watts RMS of the Rumble 500 head running into a single 8-ohm cab just fine. And the Rumble V3 112 is rated to take it's 250-watts RMS share of the Rumble 500 head running into two 8-ohm cabs just fine.

Be careful if you run the Rumble V3 112 as a single cab with the Rumble 500 head. If you crank it, you could conceivably overstress the 112 a bit. See the cabs' power ratings here:

I don't know what wattage the GK may put into a single 8-ohm cab, but suspect a similar situation.

That's not true, SR. Yer paying for the logo, the cover is free.:smug:
