There's someone interested in a Rumble 100 combo but, of course, he's getting all kinds of other advice. Some of you may want to chime in here:

Haven’t tried the head, but I’ve tested the 500 combo in the same situation. You should have no problems.Welp, I just ordered a Rumble 500 head, should be here sometime next week. I'm pretty curious to see how it works out with a 410 and my goofy af metal band.
Mostly i'm worried I won't have enough headroom but trying other similar head/cab combos I felt comfortable enough to go ahead and order one. I also looked at some markbass stuff and the ampeg pf500 and I liked the samples and stuff from this head more.
How's headroom been for y'all been with this head when playing with a loud drummer/guitar?
What 410 are you playing through? You will get plenty of volume out of it, but if its an 8 ohm cab, get a matching cab if you need more. The loudest I've run mine is with a 115 on top of a 410...never been asked to turn it up.Welp, I just ordered a Rumble 500 head, should be here sometime next week. Both my basses are passive, but I find it plays well with pre-amp and/or boost pedals. Also does very well turned down low and run through the 15.
You will find a plethora of information and opinions here. We welcome you to RumbleLand.![]()
Since you will be running an 8 ohm cab, you will be getting 350 watts from the head, but since it’s a 410, you might well get the required volume anyway. I ran my 210 500c at 350W against a 600W 610 rig, and it had no problems keeping up.Right on. We don't have rhythm guitar so I end up with a lot of space to fill. so this is good to know.
I have an older peavy 410 that I replaced the drivers in so its kind of a ghetto cab anyways, its 8ohm so I am very much considering getting a 115 as well.
Good to know it does good with effects, I generally run distortion, comp and preamp as always on effects... sometimes with more distortion!
I'm gonna see how this 410 sounds when I get the head. have you had any issues with EQ issues running two cabs with different voicings?

Which model did you choose? It's a 100v3Congrats on the new purchase. New Rumble day is always the best.Which model did you choose?
Great choice. I originally bought mine for home practice and rehearsals but also found it to be a great amp to gig small rooms. I even used it on parade float a few months back and it really held its own. It's a 100v3
I used my R40 last night at the PSL Elks club. Hardest it's been pushed(Gain@9,Master @3)but it covered the gig. Today's gig it'll be more like G-8, M-11. Small room. A 100 woulda been perfect for last night. I've used the 200c there b4 and it's More than enuff.Great choice. Rumble 200 should work fine for that.Hi everyone. I'm looking for a combo amp, that will serve for smaller bars and clubs. It has to get over acoustic drums, but will be running from the XLR out to a PA. I would like an amp onstage with me to serve as a bass monitor. I borrowed a GK MB210 for a wedding reception, and it worked for that gig. The Rumble 500 is the Fender equivalent, but I'm wondering if it's not overkill. Will the Rumble 200, or even the 100, get over drums, 2 guitars, and keyboards enough to work as an onstage bass monitor?

G-Dog, that sounds really fun and wonderful. 20 years ago I had the old BXR 300 plus the 2x10 cabinet (ACK! So heavy! LOL), and it sounded great, so I can imagine what your Rumble set up sounded like. Back then, though, the band I was in was playing much larger rooms than I'm playing now with my current ensemble. That's why I was thinking it might be overkill. What would be really cool, would be if Fender had a 200W 210 combo. I'd be all over that.Ummm, yeah, the 100 might work. The 200 probably would be plenty. But, the 500 would definitely handle that and anything else you throw at it, with plenty of headroom! The 500 also turns down quite nicely, when needed. The only time my 500 has been overkill was with an extension cab, but the added tone was so glorious I couldn't bring myself to turn it down. The soundman did so in the PA and let the Rumble carry the room!
Thanks Vinnie! Actually, they have the same dimensions, and the 500 is 2 lbs heavier. It looks like a great amp. I love the features. It's definitely not overkill to get the 500. For the price difference, in my opinion at least, the 500 is a no brainer. compared to the 200 It's so light and really doesn't take up that much more space than the 200.
