On a Jazz bass it's Pressurewounds all the way. You can get that thick luscious Joe Dart 'burp & growl' with them. He runs his volumes and tone a lot like I do.Hey Linnin... quick question for you:
Since I have fresh sets of GHS Pressurewounds and Precision Flats, I’m debating on which ones to put on my new 60s J bass. Which would you go with? Thanks!
So... what do you think, Linnin? The Flats or the PWs on the 60s J?Hey Linnin... quick question for you:

Looks like they're trying to compete with the Mesa Subway D800 head.

That's going to blow some minds!...and a new Fender Rumble LT25? For half of the price of a Rumble Studio???
Yep, looks new.
And here is the 800 head: Invalid Link Removed (sorry if it was posted before).
If they were they never would have stopped making them. Not enough demand.Anybody know if Fender is going to make more Rumble 112 cabinets?
That's going to blow some minds!

That's awesome. I have the Stage 800, and it's pretty impressive with the sounds... The modelling for the 500c v3 sounds almost (to me) spot on - a few others I really like too - but to match the tones even more -- it is an amp for the tweakers
Question for any Rumble Stage 800c users here...
My screen froze on me yesterday while streaming from youtube on my iphone via Bluetooth, and rocking away on the bass practicing the song..
It lasted only for approx. 30 seconds or so... The screen just froze (couldn't switch amps, press buttons, etc), and it was silent (couldn't hear my bass)...
As mentioned.. after 30 seconds however, everything returned to normal...
Not sure what happened, but it has me a little concerned if it would happen on stage, or if it was just a one off occurance...
Settings:
Wifi is active / enabled on the device (was it checking for updates)??
bluetooth was streaming to the amp
Bass was plugged in and rocking away
Just using presets - no tinkering (not that it matters, but thought I'd add it in)
Not sure.. Anyone else with the RS800s have that happen to you?
If it had 'speaker out', I'd want it to hook up to my R112. Most of our gigs that'd be sufficient.I don‘t get it...what is Fender‘s strategy? I thought they placed the Rumble Studio 40 as a higher quality bedroom amp. I know the Studio 40 offers bluetooth, wifi and a bigger speaker and a few more points. But I‘m not sure if I would pay the higher price. Wonder if this new Rumble will sound good. I was going to buy the Studio 40 in the next weeks, but now I‘m confused...

Hmm ok.... I have not had the screen on the amp lock up on me. To be fair during gigs I use the footswitch and have had no problems. I really only use the app to dial something in real quick. So even turning the knobs on the amp did nothing?Hi Jeremy,
the phone was still working fine, it was the screen on the amp that was frozen.
