Do you have the Vintage button engaged? That really warms up the tone.
P bass.
Vintage on.
EQ flat (12) maybe a little boost in the hi mid if the room needs it.
Gain 9, master 9-12 as needed.
love that 100c!![]()
It did so with my Jazz bass. When I switched to p bass, it got much betterno, i find it adds to the muddiness for me.
Well, truth be told even the 500 combo was WAY more than I needed. But I figured I could snag the 500 head and be ahead of the game with a single 210 cab... But then there was that discontinued (rumored) 210 cab with the black grill... and you can't just get one - after all they're discontinued (or so the rumor goes)... Next thing I knew there were two black 210 cabs in the shopping cart... I should quit while I'm ahead....I have been in that spot so many times, I usually pull the trigger, need it or not!

Ahead - as in "A" "head", you know... just one... ahead...Waddaya mean 'ahead'?![]()
Check the tone pool in the Wiki Pages. I have 5 Rumble amps and get no mud from any.no, i find it adds to the muddiness for me.
So who doesn't like a nice rear panel?Looks great....love the rear panel as well.
I have one I would let go , plus a very nice vintage brown cover for it from Custom Amp CoversThanks, have been searching the net the last couple of days, and cant find one..Haven't tried Craigslist yet though, but will in a bit!
Plus 2 ohm capable too! I wonder if the 500 head will just go the way of the 200 head. History.
I got my 200 Combo just a short time ago. Are they going to discontinue that one too?
. And besides, we buy for today, not tomorrow, don't we? Everything is sales driven. Where there is demand, there will be supply.
I doubt that. If that were going to happen, I think they would already have been. The Rumble 200 combos are strong sellers, whereas Rumble bass head buyers would opt to spend $100 more for the 500 over the 200. Will the new Rumble 800 head sap 500 head sales? I think yes, but to what degree remains to be seen. The Rumble 800 head with it's upgraded output features will most certainly cut deeply into competitor's market share just as the entire Rumble line already has and continues to do.I got my 200 Combo just a short time ago.
