P bass.Any r100 combo users out there?
There's the Stage & Studio section of the wiki page linked in my signature.
And this search results list for "800" in this thread.
Hope this helps.
If you just "try one out at GC", you'll prolly be disappointed. From what I've read here(I don't have/need one), it takes quite a while to go through the options, tweaking as you go. Take it home, play w/ it for a week, then decide.Thank you, I’ll just try one out at GC later today and give my personal opinion on it.

The only phone number I have now is my mobile (Android). I use a paid app called Nomorobo. It really reduces the number of rings I get. I, too, do not answer any number that's not in my contact list. With the "robo" calls I've been getting, it's a recording programmed to respond to responses b4 it turns you over to a (foreign) person. If I do get a person, I tell them "just a minute, I gotta get a pen and paper". Then I go make breakfast.
The ones I used to answer were mostly insurance offers(scams). I have discovered there are very few apps for a 'flip phone'. I've found "flight mode" to be rather useful.<addendum>Oh. I never answer my landline. It's only used for my alarm system or if I wanna make a call w/o giving my mobile #. It doesn't even have long distance capability. The only phone number I have now is my mobile (Android). I use a paid app called Nomorobo. It really reduces the number of rings I get. Stop robocalls and telemarketers with Nomorobo
Also available for iPhones.
The culprit behind my barrage of calls?
CenturyLink
Avoid them like the plague.
Hope you got plenty of time to go through it all.
You might wanna at least skim the Stage and Studio manual first to get an idea of all the options.
Yes, let us know how it goes, please.
As long as you don't spill a drink into it, GC will take it back.Thank you, I’ve actually had skimmed through the manual last night and was impressed by the detailed similarities describing each preset. Almost leading me to the point of just buying the damned thing lmao but I have a tendency of being an impulse and need to settle down and try it out.
I've found not owning a phone of any kind to be most effective.
It is my pleasure. Thanks for the info grandpa!
LmaoAnswer it anyway.
If it's a salesman, do what I do.
Ask them what color underwear they are wearing.
Never hear from them again.
Again, thanks Linnin for the response. I’m going to end up taking my brand new 60’s jazz bass to a guy that did a set up on my Squier PJ. That truss rod being at the heel of the neck with a screwdriver head makes me a little nervous. It’s only about 50 bucks for a complete set up with new strings so I think I should take it to him. He did an excellent job setting up my Squier PJ.Thank you @Kipp Harrington, that's very kind of you to say. GHS Pressurewounds haven't changed, so it doesn't matter how dated my review becomes it is still just as fresh and accurate as the day I wrote it.
The same can be said of my review of GHS Precision Flats except that GHS has tweaked the E string to make it better straight out of the pack. Don't worry about your nut slots as the stock Fender nut can accommodate a much heavier 55-110 set without any modification.
There's a pro trick that involves popping the neck out of the pocket without total removal that is best left to the pros if you've never done it successfully yourself. That truss rod being at the heel of the neck with a screwdriver head makes me a little nervous.

If you haven't seen this, check it out. If you have, neeeeeeeevermind!Hello everyone, I’m currently in the market for a fender rumble stage 800 if anyone can point me to a page number that discusses a bit more about the stage 800 specifically that’d be great.
