I'm not a professional photographer, and I don't play one on TV; in fact I'm colorblind; so maybe this isn't really a compliment but, I absolutely love your photo, vanny!
In my opinion cab makers should always put sound proofing in. It helps tremendously.
Your Rumbles are already factory lined with poly acoustic treatment. Shine a flashlight through one of the ports and look through the other and you will see. You can spend more and replace it with acoustically engineered foam if you like, but the factory treatment is effective.
Gig last night 7 to 11. Home by 12:15, up at 6:45 for 9 to 12 gig this morning. 67 TBird/R200c on both-sounded choice. I'm gettin' too old for this (stuff).

The Rumble 200 combo up and all cabinets are all factory lined. So is the Studio 40. I don't know about the new Rumble LT25. Rumble combos: 100; 40, 25, and 15 are all unlined.
I'm confused, I'm certain I read several posts by you recommending on another thread what kind of material to use in a studio 40. Didn't you add foam in a cabinet or an I mistaken? I am at a brief stop and can't do a search.
That was actually a V2 Rumble 75. Upgrading A Fender Rumble 75 Combo
@AstroSonic (along with several others) upgraded a Rumble 40 long before the Studio 40 debuted. @eric_B made many serious mods to his V3 Rumble 100.
Ok, I just got home, I'll take a look inside my cabs, thanks for the reply. I'm getting a little muddy sound at times and I was thinking some fill would help.

On the Rumble Club Wiki page there is one of Linnin's Rumble Talks that describes the "Acoustic Treatment" of the 200 & 500 combos and all cabs.
Also on the Rumble Club Wiki page is the Modifications Section where @JakobT describes the "Acoustic Fill" he installed in a Rumble 15.

Sweet, I was at a Governor's academic awards ceremony and didn't have time to search, my apologies. Should have known the wiki rumble page was the place to start.
Linnin, I did check inside my 800 and the cabinet, you are correct - there's batting inside, not very thick guessing about 1/2".
I also went back in my search history and found that thread I referred to, and again, you are correct (I'm sensing a trend here) that was a rumble 40, not the studio version.
On a plus though, I did get proper logos on my rumbles. No more flat plastic. View attachment 3400716

I thought it was more like an inch, but at any rate it is effective in breaking up standing sound waves in the cabinet and damping rebounding sound waves. Too much acoustic damping will result in a 'dead box', and sound that way. Not a good thing. The right amount allows for a lively and responsive cabinet that adds to the musicality of the amplified bass. A bare unlined cabinet is typically unfocused and the hard naked surfaces imparts an unmusical 'boxy' countenance.
