Fender Rumble Club

.
Here's a reminder for any new Rumblers, or anyone just looking for a different tone from their Rumble, to try some of the settings in the Rumble Club TONE POOL linked on the Rumble Club Wiki page (linked in my signature).

You can also add your own favorite settings to the list to share with others here.

Enjoy!

Rainy day here today, and going through the tone pool and experimenting. Quite a range to be had with a R100 if you experiment with more extreme settings. Even taking a setting like the treble to off.
Keep floating back now to Bass at noon, Low Mids at 3, High Mids at 2, treble at 11, where I had been staying on 10,2,2,10

I start @ 10,2,2,10 then see how it sounds in that space/with whichever bass. Luckily the knobs do move.;)

Attention: Rumble Club Wiki Edit Alert!

Thanks, @Diver. A link to your post describing How To Run the Android Fender TONE App on Your PC has been added to the Rumble Club Wiki page at the bottom of the TONE App Support section. This is a potentially groundbreaking discovery! I now see it being a great addition to using with @Droopy_TX's preset spreadsheets, in addition to with a DAW, like you do. Other applications are sure to follow! Man! These amps and their software just keeps on boggling my mind!!! Though, admittedly, that's not hard to do these days.

Thank you again, Divey, for sharing this valuable discovery.

Rumble On!

So here is my Rumble stack - 500c with the 210 extension. The combination sounds great, and the headroom is what I am after versus excessive volume.

The thing that makes this combination sound magical is a Broughton Super Stack preamp - my drummer couldn’t believe I wasn’t playing through a tube amp until I showed him. I also control the tone with a HPF and compressor, but I can’t play without that preamp anymore. Works great on the combo unit solely as well.

Would love to get the R500 and 210 one day.

A preamp that bakes in "your tone" is a wonderful thing. Did you know that the 3D Fender logos add 0.016 dB of headroom? It might have been the egg-crate foam on half of the inner cab walls but I'm betting on the logos. :)

Thanks!

Is your 210 sitting on the 500c or vice versatility?

The 500c is sitting on top. The 210 has recessed side handles, which are visible in the picture. Actually, if it had been the other way around, you wouldn’t be able to access the amp controls, so the combo always goes on top.

Thanks much. That is what I thought. I have the R115 cab which goes on top of the 500c because of its weight/size. It makes getting to the 500c controls tricky but I set the tone and leave it so it works ok. Great rig you have!

Great rig! What's it all sitting on if I might ask? Did you build or buy that platform?

I'd sure like to see a pic of that, please, mack! The 115 is bigger than the R500c in every dimension. Doesn't it look top heavy? Did you move the rubber feet on the 115 inward to fit on top of the R500c? Or something else? Nosy... uh, that is, enquiring minds wanna know.

Also, with a pic you can finally get your very own unique membership number and really, and truly belong to The Club!

Woulda been better off with a 200c atop a 210 cab.[15 over 2x10]
